The small of it all...

Sharp
A double-edged sword
The sun on an autumn day
A classy lady

----------------------------------------------------------

Rose blush on a cheek
Heart that stutters just one beat
Innocense felt; sweet

----------------------------------------------------------

Race against the clock
Water rushing from the hose
Where is the fire?

----------------------------------------------------------

Loyal, stubborn love
The hard work of an athlete
Stands the test of time

  1. I thought I already commented this, but now I see I did not. I LOVE it. This is all about the details, isn't it. Those little, tender things we miss if we aren't looking close enough, or at all. The details that, combined, make up life ... and without seeing the details, who truly sees or understands life's beauty? Your poem captured this effortlessly.
